ALIGNED

ALIGNED is an eclectic, acoustic duo hailing from the sunny shores of Lake Erie in Vermilion, Ohio. The group features Shawn Facemire on Acoustic Guitar & Vocals, with  Jennith Lynn on Lead Vocals & Harmonies. They primarily play popular rock & pop hits from the 70's, 80's, and 90's with a handful of current day crowd-pleasers mixed in to keep things interesting. ALIGNED strives to create a fresh, unique sound for people to enjoy through the use of acoustic reimagining, whole-song harmonies, & emotionally resonant vocals. 

The two officially came together as a group in 2023, however, their individual histories with music go much further back. It was simply a matter of being ALIGNED in the right place at the right time!

Shawn Facemire AKA Face: Rhythm Guitarist & Vocalist

Shawn, a singer-songwriter from Vermilion, Ohio, is the founder of Face the Music. He began his journey with music at the age of 14 when he first began singing and picked up the guitar, and since then, has honed his skills on acoustic, bass, and vocals while amassing an impressive catalog of songs to perform. Face has played locally in North Central Ohio since 1997 as part of the group Scavenger X, and later, as a solo artist and part of the duo Face & Bunn. More recently, he formed the duo Face & Lady J; from there, ALIGNED was born. He also writes and performs his own material, which you can expect to hear more of here very soon! You can even catch him out and about where he is known to host Open Mic and Karaoke at select spots in the local area.

Jennith Lynn AKA Lady J: Lead Vocalist & Harmonist

Lady Jennith is a singer-songwriter from Milan, Ohio. Quite simply, for her entire life, singing has been her greatest joy. Lady J brings with her years of experience as a younger musician performing locally in choral groups, where she first discovered her penchant for using vocal melodies and harmonies to evoke deep emotion within those listening. Though she took a break from performing for over two decades, Jennith's passion for music continued to drive her as she built a successful career in Music Marketing & Promotions, working with local and national artists and venues alike; most notably, Strange Music, Inc. The pull to sing remained ever present, though; and so, when Lady J connected with Face in 2023 and they got to talking music it was clear to both of them that something special was in the making. Lady J is also a songwriter and percussionist! Stay tuned to ALIGNED's pages to hear more from her, including previously unreleased originals.

This year - 2026 - you can find ALIGNED performing in the North Central Ohio area at a variety of indoor and outdoor venues.
